Architect and designer Anuka Tavartkiladze explains her choice of the Market Set | Selenitis D78 lamp for the therapy corner.

The task
The project brief required creating a cabinet space that would include a therapy corner, a workspace, a kitchen area, and a WC. Additionally, the client wanted a bright, open work area with colorful accents, designed to be as functional and pleasant as possible so visitors would feel comfortable.
The role of lighting in fulfilling the task
Lighting is one of the key elements in interior design because it shapes the atmosphere, defines the functionality of the space, and influences people’s mood. Properly distributed lighting ensures a comfortable environment.
Why I chose Selentis lighting
The lamp we selected needed to fit the therapy corner. Since the interior already had a lot of color through various objects and materials, the lamp’s design had to be light and neutral. That’s why we chose the Selentis lamp — it balanced the space without overwhelming it.
